Optimism, Staying Hopeful and Not Giving Up
Optimism allows a person to gain self-control through active choice in each moment, in the way they respond to life's experiences. Understanding that negative events in life are only temporary, with an ability to see past unpleasant situations towards hope and new possibilities is powerful. Optimistic thinking is a habit that can be nurtured. We can train our minds to think optimistically, to see the world through rose colored lenses, even when things are beyond our control. It is a skill that can be learned.
